By attuning ourselves to the “echoes” emitted by things in flux, we come into contact with multiple domains—and with the boundaries that both separate and connect them. Within these encounters, a mode of expression emerges that transcends notions of completion or permanence, existing only within states of instability and fluctuation.
Living in the present moment, we find ourselves situated at the very heart of such boundaries. In a society where values and systems of order are increasingly unsettled, the process of transition itself—of things becoming otherwise—is laid bare before us.
“Becoming” does not describe a linear movement toward completion. Rather, it signifies an ongoing, generative motion: a mode of existence sustained through continual transformation and responsive engagement with the world. Even when a form momentarily takes shape, it remains open, holding within it the potential for further change—an existence that is always in the process of being born.
Embedded within this process is a quiet but potent form of creation that arises through forgetting. As what once existed gradually fades or slips from view, new possibilities come into view. In this sense, forgetting is not synonymous with loss; it is an act of release—an unfastening from fixed meanings and stable contours that makes room for other forms of relation to emerge.
Bringing together works by seven artists working across diverse fields of expression, this exhibition invites viewers to attend closely to the “echoes” that arise in the interstices—between each artist’s gaze directed toward a world in flux and the subtle, responsive gazes that return from it.
